They look SO great! Let's see you wearing them with a head-to-toe outfit. :)<br /> In general, I like to wear dresses with leggings that are in between tunic and knee length. If the dress is below knee length, I feel like wearing leggings throws off proportions on my body. Yes I think pairing them with dresses that I would normally wear over skinny jeans will work. I feel confident knee length skirts and dresses will work but might take some photos of a more midi length (not that I have many) skirt/dress and see how it looks. Undoing a few of the snaps around the ankle is a great touch; it adds a bit more skin with the flats to keep it from looking too heavy. What balance is it you had trouble with with these that limited their wear? I am wondering about length and proportion in relation to wearing ankle length leggings. </p> <p>I know leggings at that mid calf length work well with a knee length skirt but are there particular guidelines for wearing leggings to the ankle as in my photos?</p> <p>I love these but haven't gotten a lot of wear out of them yet.</p> <p>I remember Angie's blog where she was wearing a knee length skirt and stirrup leggings and this got me thinking.</p> <p>So I wore them tonight with the black flats and a velvet knee length sack dress.
