I like them. I never really get all the fear of suede here. I have some beige suede pants that are really soft and I've had them for years and I used to have some black suede pants and a black suede dress. I've never had any problems with my suede clothing or shoes.

Yeah, Diana - good point. I had them slated for next Nov. on my list I should probably calm down a little here It might be the really good deal that's making me think about them . . .

Hmm, I wonder if you should wait until you're back in Tahoe? I can't imagine it ever getting cold enough in FL to make leather pants comfortable.

My issue with suede is that it can be stiff and uncomfortable. I know there is newer better suede out there these days than that crusty 70s style that I always see at the thrift store. Vince has a beautiful pair but they are $1000! I have a fake suede legging that is really soft and I think I got them for under $30, but they are thin and definitely leggings.

Mo - what is the seat made out of? I think these pants look very pretty. I would be concerned because suede tends to flatten out and get shiny in areas of pressure or rubbing and if the seat is suede this might not be a good look. I did get leather leggings from bloomindales on sale last year and I love, love, love them. So far no bagging and they are very comfortable. The faux leather was hot. Good luck on your hunt. Whatever you pick I know you will really enjoy them!!

Hmm, suede isn't good? Didn't know . . . I was more concerned about possibly getting the wrong silhouette with these more than the material. Must consider this a bit. http://us.asos.com/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=2462147

Suede can be difficult - I'd go for a soft skinny stretch style, which I have seen in j brand, I think. There was an amazing olive pair at the consignment store but it was too much $ for me.

I'd be really wary of suede pants.

I had both suede pants and leather paneled skinnies or leggings on the winter shopping list. Then I thought about searching for suede and leather mix in one pant. These have that, but they are more of a trouser. Of course, I have a much less up and down figure than these models, so maybe they'd fit me more like a skinny. Should I try, or am I barking up the wrong tree here?
