It’s a UK brand. I first found them on a Kickstarter campaign. It’s very, very tricky business finding out where leather came from, and if the information is even accurate. I saw a National Geographic talk a few years ago that documented the tanning source in India of 90% of the world’s leather. </p> <p>My suggestion is to go with faux leather or another fabric - which also has its disadvantages. There is no easy solution. For bags and small leather goods, I’ve had a hard time getting info beyond the country of manufacture, sometimes even customer service people don’t know. </p> <p>I experimented with vegan leather goods, but my non-leather items just haven’t lasted and ultimately feel more wasteful, especially given recent awareness around the problems with plastics.
