That's a pretty classic style of jacket. Can you return it easily if you don't like it? If you can, go for it!

I think you could wear this jacket for almost any occasion when the temperature is right. Is the leather nice and soft, and the fit good? Then buy it, wear it, and make it your own. You won't regret it.

First, I truly feel for your thought process! Not that I have a solution, but I think that your method of thinking through the usage is great.

This looks like a great color and style - wearable for three seasons for sure. You could dress it up as as a topper over a silky, satiny or shimmery top.

without seeing this jacket, its hard to know if its a heavy jacket or a jacket that could be a blazer stand in. if its on the lighter side, i'd wear this 3 seasons, as an outerwear piece in early spring and fall, and an indoor piece in late fall & winter. i'd wear this jacket to work (business casual....in the last few years leaning slightly more to the casual side).

I like this jacket--it could be worn many ways. I love that it's navy blue, which would make it much easier to wear in spring and even summer. The nice thing about a well cut but simple leather jacket is that it can go on and on, year after year.

I live in Manitoba , which gets similar weather to yours in spring and fall. I love a good leather jacket and bought a navy one two years ago which I wear once in awhile. I don't see leather as strictly casual at all, in fact, I wear mine mostly for work and evenings out . Navy can be dressed up or down so easily, so I'm sure you'll get lots of wear out of it. Your spring season is longer than ours, and should get you a good couple of months of wear out of a jacket. I don't work in an office so mine are only worn as outerwear pieces or when I'm out seeing customers during my work day. I wear leather jackets over dresses, with jeans, trousers, etc and over any kind of top .

I've been searching for a colored leather jacket, blue or bottle green for quite some time. I recently found this one but I'm at a loss on if it's a worthy purchase? I struggle with fear of purchasing, it's a ridiculous fear but I can and have become paralyzed by the fear of making a bad purchase and then the disappointment of having it pass me by. To avoid this bizarre behavior pattern I try and think what I could wear with this and how many seasons I can use it for. Here in Alberta, spring can be just as cool as the fall and we never get truly hot here. My question how can I wear this? Is it strictly casual? Can I use it for a bit dressier nights?
