I remember spilling something (can't recall what - might have been lotion) on my red leather wallet, resulting in an ugly dark blotch which caused me to think it was ruined - but after wiping with a soft cloth and waiting, within 20 minutes the splotch was gone! Then I went home and checked on size because I felt they were a little weird. One is a 38. They are pretty and redish purple.</p> <p>There is a VRE/MRSA outbreak on the ward; so we hand sanitize all the time. Sometime during the course of my day, some alcohol based hand sanitizer met my boot.</p> <p>Now my boot has a white spot; the dye looks like it was wiped away in the pattern of the sanitizer splash.</p> <p>Any ideas? </p>
