I love LE. I have not yet had success with their khakis (length can be too short for my legs) but I like how these are styled.

Thanks Jules. I had the code too so free shipping and 30% off with a $50 order.

Shannon, the pants are a low rise and the inseam in only 30 or 31" so even though they don't come in petite, they might still work. They came in a deep bright green, bright yellow, and a purple/brown called raisin. There might have been one other color.

I have high hopes for these, Dianthus! LE is a sleeper brand. You have to separate their pieces and mix with other brands IMO, but their quality is stellar and there are lots of great pieces. Keep us posted!

They do look a little snug on the model don't they!

Dianthus, you did the right thing experimenting with the sizes. I look forward to the fit show.

LOL. I don't think whoever dressed the model got the concept of slouchy. It looks like they sized down to remove the slouch factor since the pleats on one side look as though they are pulling a bit.

I figure if they are a size bigger than usual, they will sit an inch or so lower and that will achieve the slouch factor. If not, then they will just be loose. I bought a few pairs of shorts for vacation that were a few sizes big and just put a belt on to give them enough stiffness that they didn't fall off. It is quite liberating but does allow one to each more.

Thought you were being clever calling it Le slouchy, similar to Le Smoking - but LE is probably Lands End? ;-)
- nice looking pants!!

Not slouchy, just baggy :)

I think what you are after is not too slouchy, but you do want the baggy part. Slouchy means DROPPED CROTCH POINT. That's not the look you are after I gather. Correct me if I am wrong!

Since I recommended the LE dress to Thistle, I decided to go back and look at it again. While cruising the LE site, I came across these slouchy pants and decided to give them a try. I ordered one size up from my current size which is two sizes up from my usual size but since it is the Canvas line which fits smaller than the regular LE line, it should be slouchy but not TOO baggy. What tipped the scale for me was that the description said no side pockets.

What do you think of the cut?
