If you have wide hips, I would definitely go for the shift dress, where it fits up top and flares at bottom to get rid of hips. If you don't have hips, you have nothing to worry about. I noticed sheath dresses are fitted real close to the body, depends on if you want to show hips. A wrap dress is every woman's best friend according to Clinton Kelly and Stacey London. Knee length is always good, since it's respectable.
