These are great. Harmonica thanks so much for the pic and recommendation. Long sleeve layering is definitely tougher than what i've done!

Super cool! I love this layering and so smart to add the belt to keep a structured look.

In winter I often layer with a top + wool cardi + blazer + add a belt for waist definition. My pieces are long sleeved, because it would be too cold otherwise, but it is kind of the same idea.

Beautiful!
I haven't layered 2 vests, but have often layered two jackets. It's not easy to do. Bravo!

I think this totally works - especially with the belt to add definition.

I have a favourite photo somewhere from ages back where I was wearing a denim jacket over an open loose weave white button up and a tank. I was wearing cargo pants. It was a lot of layers but it looked good. It was around this time of year (autumn for us) and we were off to the zoo for the day. I needed the heavier denim layer for early morning and late afternoon warmth but only wanted a light covering for the middle of the day.

I don't know if anyone else has done this, but this weekend on a particularly cold day in SF I layered two vests. See more detail here: http://bit.ly/18qmaRU

I kept one vest structured and the other a knit, and cinched with a belt for added waist definition. I kind of loved the result but am wondering if anyone else has any pictures or examples of ways they have done this? I want to avoid bringing out my Winter coats again but still need to stay warm.

thanks!
xx
