Yes, I think more basic would work better, thanks everyone! I would like a little slouchy pocket, though I see a few I like until I read dry clean - yeah, right! I sure wish at times like this I lived closer than an hour and a half from good shopping! I want to see where the shoulders fit and how tight or loose the sleeves are. Also if the hem hits me right at my wide spot or not, and how sheer the white fabric is. Who would think a simple loose white tee would be so hard to find?!
I did get to try on the Mossimo boyfriend tee in cotton at my local discount store and can cross it off the list for weird fit across my shoulders. One down!

EDIT: I think I am going to go for Alternative Apparel's modal silk tee even though it says dry clean only. I'll gentle hand wash and air dry. I have lots of modal I wash with no shrinking issues but rayon is too unpredictable . . .

I'd shy away from this layered look, if it is white and sheer you may need to add another layer to an already layered top. This may make it very hot in warmer weather. Also I'm not a fan of the elastic banded bottom against skinny jeans. I prefer the banded bottom with skirts and shorts.

i love soft white tees, but i'd probably go with something more basic like this: http://www.express.com/scoop-n.....pro#jsLink

I also voted 'Nay'. The double layered top seems too fussy. I went back and looked at pics of the jeans again and worry that this length of top will cover up the nifty zipper details on the pants.

I think that if your tank was too much, then this would also be too much. :T What about a very simple jersey tank or v-neck tee to let the jeans take center stage?

Hmmm, not sure. My purpose is to have a top to balance my red zipper moto jeans. The sequin tank and patent black booties were too much for my BF. Does that mean I want to dress down my jeans with it? Maybe . . .

I think it could work with some nice accessories? The shirt itself is not really my style but i think it has kind of a sporty look going for it?

thanks! No need to apologize I have lots of time to find *the* right tee :D

(it's going to be in the 90's for months yet so the pants will wait!)

Does it have an elasticized bottom? That and the double layering feel like one detail too many to me. Sorry Mo, I voted nay on this one. If not for the elasticized bottom I would vote Yay.

What do we think about this as a possible boyfriend, looser style, drapey white tee for my red moto jeans? Is the double top look weird? It's lyocell, so it should drape really well . . .
