I have a controversary relations with jumpsuits and overals, as never managed to make them look good on me-but these look fab! Love a textured/patterned&nbsp; linen (looks like a slub to me), would look great with black short or long sleeves under, too! Since I was able to stay and wait for it, I browsed the shop. They had some garment patterns for $.50, so I bought a traditional overalls pattern.</p> <p>I had this heavy linen drapery fabric, with a gray, almost snake print, for a long time thinking it would make good pants. I washed it when I bought it so there won’t be shrinkage problems.</p> <p>I ordered overall buckles and installed the jeans buttons in the kit. But on the sides, I used some antiqued metal-look regular buttons, thinking that I could possibly move the buttons to adjust the waist size sometime if needed.</p> <p>This is after I completed them, including making adjustments in the inner leg/crotch seam and rehemming since they were too long. This tee doesn’t match, but I have plenty of solid, dark, long sleeve tees and some light tee-type sweaters, so I hope to get lots of wear out of these this winter.</p> <p>Thanks for indulging me by looking at my successful project! </p>
