It is a great colour and such a flattering shape on you! My only comment iis a bit similar to Ele's I think - I love the idea of the halter overlay and the straps it gives, but the way it just sits over the bust and doesn't come closer towards the midline looks a little off to me....I'd like the 2 halter pieces to be closer to each other somehow. Obviously I am no dressmaker though!!! The sleeve is perfect and that colour is indeed incredible on you. The only thing I'd change is bring the halter detailing toward centre front a little more at the waist, though I'm not sure that will be possible with the skirt overlay? I'm still stressing despite your lovely answers, but it's not your fault! I blame the fact that I wiped out and popped out my kneecap on the way home (fortunately it popped back in again, but walking is difficult right now). Ugh! Anyway, for this reason I won't respond to everyone just yet. Please know I greatly appreciate everyone's input, and no one should feel obliged to hold back at any point in this process!</p> <p>So here's the latest incarnation of the dress. It's more sewn together, but she has to take it up in the shoulder and finish the back. Tania agrees that the halter effect is more dramatic in the sleeveless form, but thought we'd achieve a good compromise by doing a shorter sleeve as you'll see here. </p> <p>I welcome all further comments.
