Halle Berry was perfection! Loved her short bob, too. I did check out some of the dresses although I am sure I missed a lot. I tend to like sparkly over poufy dresses and this year was no exception. I tend to like less traditional looks because, honestly, all the naked sparkly dresses and tuxes are a bit boring even if the wearers look amazing. It's tradition, and our 20th time doing it together. Lots of fun :) I thought the host was a bit tame, and many of the speeches painful to watch. Other than that, I was routing for movies Wicked and Anora! Sooooo glad they won lots of awards!  Disappointed that Ralph Fiennes didn't win Best Actor. He was incredible in Conclave! My fashion faves of the night were:  Timothee Charmalet - lemon leather tux!  Raye - classically draped to perfection!  Cynthia Erivo - edgy green velvet queen! Ariana Grande - space age princess! Paul Tazewell - regal elegance! I’ve seen Wicked. The leads - Cynthia and Ariana - are very petite people who are mind blowing powerhouses! Their huge, mega sculptural dresses suited their BIG personalities. I thought absolute slam dunk. Only read about it online. I guess I'm turning in to a bit of a curmudgeon because I wasn't that impressed with the red carpet style. Please stop with the nude/colorless dresses. However, there were some standouts. Colmam Domingo, Paul Tazewell, and Mark Eydelshteyn nailed their looks. For the women, Michelle Yeoh, Raye, Demi Moore, Halle Berry, Lisa, and Fernanda Torres. From the men, Colman Domingo was my favourite.  So good. I was interested by some of the different silouhettes, and I’m always pleased to see traditional glam and vintage couture.  (Always love a Dior!) Sheer in small doses can be alluring, but I’m NOT a fan of naked dresses. On the beauty front, I’m very sorry to see pneumatic lips and puffy doll like faces have become so prevalent.   <div>It’s fun to see the fellows get creative. Unable to bring links forward, but will keep trying. </div>
