I like Paris Opera Ballet’s costume too, but the PNB version was stunning. You could hear the audience gasp as the curtain raised for each act. </p> <p>The only thing I wasn’t crazy about in PNB’s new design was using a stiffer, thicker bodice for the Rubies’ ladies costume. It looked odd without a tutu skirt. The colors and sparkles totally worked. The costumes in motion are stunning. Many layers and colors in the skirt, and the sparkle! (Video included to show them in motion.)<br /> My green-loving heart skipped a few beats, and this became my dream formal gown. I’d skip the tiara and pointe shoes.
