I love the scarf and gloves too. Angie pointing out the fact about the trench having no texture is an eye opener though. I guess the scarf and gloves give it a feel of texture. The black looks “very black” and as Sihaya puts it “overwhelming you” because there’s NO texture to this garment. Metallic buttons, a bit if sheen in the fabric, or topstitching would have made all the difference. I think it is a pretty plain style, but it was under $100 (at 60% off) and I don't mind black if I can perk it up with colorful scarves and gloves.
