I will try to lighten up in summer by using more white. I also plan to add tan and taupe. I would love to add pale grey but it doesn't suit me. And there will be some non-neutral accent colours. At this stage I am planning to focus on teal and red. This is the most organised (and disciplined) I have ever been! It goes back to a post you made some time ago about colour mixing, which I found very helpful for wardrobe planning. Re: olive green. I have the dress in outfit 2 above. This vest, below, that I have posted previously. (Gratuitous dog pic) A couple of warm weather tops. And a jumper. I have always enjoyed it as a spring/autumn colour. I know the colour palette is limited, but that works for me because I am not a very good colour mixer. If I branch out into a lot of colours, I end up with lots of items that I only feel comfortable wearing with one or 2 other things. This way I can achieve a high degree of mix and match capability in my wardrobe without high volume. I do want to add more tan to my wardrobe as you suggested and I am on the eye out for more. I like olive green too, which is easier to find, and I already have some pieces (like the dress in outfit 2), but my mum says it doesn't suit me.
