I was tempted by those Monroe booties too, they look comfortable and versatile. If I tuck in the laces a la Angie, and they stay tucked, I will wear them with some skirts.<br />I did not want the burgundy ones as too much contrast for my chopped-up leg look, but oh, now I see they have gray! I think black will be best, though--I want the laces to kind of disappear.<br />Suz, the cartography shirt was in my finds but had disappeared from view, so I added it. <br />Thanks, Sara L. It is amazingly not too sheer, so&nbsp;at warmer temps&nbsp;I can&nbsp;wear sans cami, to get the benefit of the linen knit.<br />Thank&nbsp; you, rachylou. I was glad I was a Gap lemming this time--had not expected these to fit. I like a lightweight pant more than shorts a lot of times, any time going in and out of A/C,&nbsp;and I like how these (and the white jeans) can be full length or rolled. With a loafer I will roll higher but with an oxford I like them down to the top of the shoe. I would keep the booties if they are comfortable. Getting that ankle fit has been tough for you and these fill the need for sure, plus the quality is great. Photo 1 is just showing both NAS items together.<br />The sweater is a keep, as it goes with most everything--the curved hem works with skirts, even though it's a bit on long side, and&nbsp;since is longer, it goes with pants, &nbsp;and is a very lightweight wool blend knit that I can wear&nbsp;for more of the year&nbsp;than a heavy one, and it still layers under jackets and will layer over a silky shirt for a higher collar effect. Downside is that I am not sure how well it will hold up, and I believe Vince is annoyingly overpriced, but it fits in well with my existing outfits, and some others did not work as well, so there you go.</p> <p>Munro wedge booties in same photo are very comfortable and I had targeted the laceup as 1) a way to get&nbsp;some&nbsp;&nbsp;ankle fit and 2) a shape that&nbsp;works with my&nbsp;straighter trousers&nbsp; as well as some skirts. Only issue is that the foot bed is a little longish in the toe, yet I think it is the right size--but I feel it makes my feet look longer! So I'm thinking about that.</p> <p>The other photos are casual event outfits with some summer lemming-buys--<br />a JC orchid-pink sweater and Gap gray linen-blend pants. Also shown is fun Anthro map shirt-not shown is&nbsp;high-low split hem in back.</p> <p>Thank&nbsp; you for looking and any suggestions.</p>
