I will consider changing, problem is that meeting is scheduled until 5PM and reception in school also starts at 5PM. I have 15 min commute between work and school. So unless meeting runs short I will be definitely late for reception but hopefully not for ceremony that starts at 5:30PM. I will be literally running and not sure if I will have even 5 min to change. I am also disappointed that I will not be able to help my DD get dressed and do her hair. But not good for the meeting - I will definitely need a blazer - male colleagues will be in suits and conference room is heavily air conditioned. She selected black Hollister dress and platform sneakers in light blue (picture shows white). Dress code is smart casual but that was the fanciest she wanted to go. I just hope that it will be appropriate. I was planning to either wear my jumpsuit or red dress but i have a very important meeting at work with higher management just before the event and will not have time to change. I am now trying to come up with the outfit appropriate for both occasions and currently drawing blanks. Any ideas? All feedback much appreciated. Obviously it has to be something from my closet- too late for shopping now. </p>
