I love her style, her strength and her intellect. </p> <p>Joy, the pearls are an actual really long strand that I broke, so instead I tie them around my neck so it never looks the same. :-)</p> <p>Angie, I don't commute on foot, otherwise I would be seeking out comfortable commuting shoes. When the weather is bad, I wear wellies from the house-car-school-work and back. I have not worn jeans tucked into boots because I didn't own skinnies until recently, and my calf muscles being what they are can cause fit problems. I usually just wore my boot cut jeans over a pair of motorcycle boots on the weekends. For work I have a pair of tall black boots that are actually loose around my calves. When I tried my fall/winter clothes two weeks ago (to determine what must go to the tailor), I realized that I only had two pairs of pants that fit, a wool men's JCrew pants (with lot of potential) and those odd 3/4 length tweed pants from BCBG, which I am thinking of either shortening and/or slimming the leg. And I am on the fence about whether to get another pair, like basic black (the slim leg ankle pant), but a little voice tells me that is playing it safe.
