Thanks Diana - You're right about the raglan sleeves, it's not a look I normally like on me. It's going to go now.

Thanks Sara!

I think it should go. I also like the neckline but it looks like it's lost some of it's shape and it's not as flattering as it could be.

I would let it go. Raglan sleeves like that are not well suited for shapes like ours with small or sloping shoulders. In my opinion, they only work on really strong, well-defined shoulder lines.

Don't get me started on how annoying it is that SO MANY patterns for handknit sweaters feature raglan shoulders. It's because they're easier to knit and seam.

Thanks Irene! I feel blah. I guess I wanted to like it, just like you said. I mean it probably had a reason it was in the bag in the first place. I agree that the sleeves aren't the most flattering. I actually like the neckline, but not in combination with the seaming. I guess I have my answer....

Astrid, I really wanted to say yes. I am one of those who suffers while purging, and usually keep stuff for ages before I realize I'm not wearing that again.

That sweater looks too tight around your bust and I'm not sure the seamings at the sides (the sleeves) are helping. I'm not sure about the neckline either.

How do YOU feel in it?

Today I finally had time to get rid of the purged clothing that was taking up space under my bed. I had a quick look over it and I took only four items out of the bag, three for my sister (if she wants them) and this knit sweater. I thought I'd try it on one more time, what with all the knit sweaters that are around at the moment. This was a cheap one, I think I bought it on sale for 5€ ages ago.

What do you think, should I give it another chance? Or should I just toss it?
