Tracina, thanks for the link. I got to poking around and think TYR might fit my bottom heaviness better than my past Speedo experiences. I think I'm going to try a reversible one piece from SierraTradingPost http://www.sierratradingpost.c.....=TopSeller It gets awesome reviews both here and over at SwimOutlet.
Hope I'll be ready to try it out by the time it arrives!

I like this Jag top alot and paired it with speedo bottoms and they are ok, I too have a low butt and think I will never find a suit that is perfect. I have used speedo one peice and TYR and like the TYR better they might cover better.

I like http://www.swimoutlet.com

If you are a serious lap swimmer, I would say it is too bad you cannot wear the Speedos because they are available in a fabric that is the most chlorine resistant of any brand that I have tried. I do not know of another brand to recommend to you, sorry.

I am eagerly awaiting my return to the pool hopefully in a week or two. But I have been making do with a fashion suit and really would like to get a proper suit for lap swimming.

The problem is I have a low butt, for lack of a better term, and all the Speedos seem to cut deeply into that area in a most unattractive way. If it fits the bust, it cuts into the hip I have seen brands like Tyr and of course Nike but am nowhere near a brick and mortar store where I can try one on. I am open to both one pieces and sport bikinis or tankinis. Anyone have any first hand experience and recommendations for comfy but sturdy lap suits? Cute would be nice, too, if possile

Thanks!
