Lands End does tend to run generous, but I didn't want any hugging of the muffin top. I'm usually a size 8 on top (size 10 if it buttons across the chest). I'm happy with the medium, but I think a small would have worked for me too. You look like a teeny little thing...I would think a small would do fine. Lands End small is a 6-8. I love the quality of the turtlenecks. Very soft, drapey fabric. It is a slimmer fit than is typical for Land's End. Since I live in Houston, I want to wear it as an outer layer, not as a layering piece so I wanted it to be a skimming fit not a tight fit. I'm very happy with the couple I ordered and ordered a couple more today.
