I see a lot of wedged anything around me, especially in the current cold weather footwear sections now.

I think you should get these and enjoy them, they will look great I'm sure. Just pay attention that they really are comfortable as they are a heels after all and should be able to add soft cushions for the balls of your feet if necessary.

I'm glad they got Angie's approval as I have two pair, one in tan and one in gray. I think you will find them very versatile, I wear mine with skirts and tights and with jeans. Sometimes I roll up my skinnies to show a bit of ankle and a thick, textured cuffed sock that sort of matches the booties color. Of these two I think the second one is a bit dressier because of the cuff and the less pronounced lug sole.

Yay! Angie says not dated. I have two pair like this from DV from 3 seasons ago. They are very stable and comfortable and provide height without pain. The laces provide for a custom fit. Mine have a covered heel so probably a bit more dated looking but I still love wearing them, they are leg lengthening and again, so comfortable.

I find this look do simple that I think it probably had quite a bit of longevity. These boots have been in our stores this winter;). I like them and don't find them dated.

I have been slow to adopt the idea of wedge booties, but I found myself seriously considering a pair like this the other day. One of my wish list items is a pair of comfortable heeled shoes that can go with jeans or skirts and has a non-slippery sole. Something like these wedges might fit the bill but is this style on the way out?
