An anomaly this week as a) I'm wearing contacts instead of specs (I almost always wear glasses these days due to extremely dry eyes and long hours on a computer in fluorescent lit, windowless room) and b) I've been wearing pants almost all week. </p> <p>My sister and I went to the ballet tonight. We had a blast! Such a great program with pieces by Wheeldon, Balanchine, and Robbins. The timing was funny because Oct 1 was world ballet day, and I had watched some of the live streams of companies around the world taking classes and rehearsing. It was neat to top off the little bits that I watched with a moving live performance by my own city's excellent company. We stayed for an audience chat with the director and a couple of the performers afterwards to learn a bit more. It was quite a treat. </p> <p>i wore a purple lace dress with a burgundy slip layer, lacy hose, and burgundy patent pumps. I popped on my long glass pearls, knotted and tripled, and layered my cobalt trench on top.
