It said Coty was a struggling one-hundred-and-something-year-old cosmetics house, which certainly fit with how I perceived it ( if I ever thought about it, which is seldom)- it would seem fuddy-duddy. Which is saying something, as I could definitely be seen as that myself! It’s a bit like “Oil of Olay” aka Ulay or Ulan- one of the only cosmetics ads I remember from childhood.
