Size down. Also, I wouldn't recommend drying jeans or washing in hot water since it spoils their elasticity and they stretch out even more.

I bought my normal size at NAS because the size down seemed too tight, but I'm planning on exchanging these because they do stretch quite a bit and everyone here has convinced me to squeeze into the smaller size!

Going a size down should work. That's what I had to do in this brand.

That's one reason I kept the Kut jeans - just to be able to fool myself into thinking I'm actually a size 6. (Please let me have my little moment of fantasy!)

Thank you so much I just placed an exchange order for a size down. I did not know that the dryer would ruin lycra but I always turn my jeans inside out & wash on cold & hang to dry. I guess I just wanted to make these work because the length was just right for flats. Maybe the size down will work. Oh btw they did honor the sale price and no shipping charge. You ladies have an answer for everything. I don't know how I shopped before YLF. Thanks

For some odd reason, Kut jeans just don't fit me right, but when I tried them on at the NAS last year, the sales person told me to size down. I had a hard time believing her, but they do run large and I ended up going down 2 sizes.

Jeans with Lycra are crazy. They will stretch like mad! When you try them on they should be pretty tight-to the point where you're thinking "ooh, no way." In a couple of hours they will be just fine. (And you'll be looking fabulous!)

You should never wash your jeans on hot. Turn them inside out; wash them in cold and hang to dry. The dryer will ruin the Lycra. I learned all of this at a denim workshop at Nordstrom. If you want to soften them up after they dry, you can put them in your dryer on "no heat." I have found that even when caring for my jeans like this, they creep up a bit in length over time. I hope this helps.

My white Kut jeans definitely stretch quite a bit. I'd size down for sure.

I received my Kut jeans today and they are a tad loose when I first put them on. I ordered up 1 size because I ordered petite (fist time for petite jeans) I want to wear them with my flats and they are the perfect length. Do the jeans stretch over time and if I wash & dry on hot will they shrink? Or do I need to swap for a size down? I really like the jeans lenght but feel I will be pulling them up at the waist if they do not shrink. Thank you
