Another rectangle who likes this brand but sizing is inconsistent - I sized down for the Catherine BFs and I like the still slightly loose fit.

I own several pair now, either from Nordstrom or thrifted. (I've never seen them anywhere other than Nordstrom, but that might just be me.) I actually find them really flattering to pears, but I haven't tried the skinnies or bfs; all of mine are straight-legged or bootcut. One of the things I like best is that they are long enough in the inseam for me, whereas NYDJ is not (the jean that every saleslady at Nordstrom always tries to get me to buy).

Yours look like a great basic pair of jeans.

I have been very happy with Kut jeans over the years. They tend to run a bit big, but then there are different fits. I wear the Diana skinny style, sized up in white but regular size or sized down in black or blue; and the Catherine slim boyfriends, again sized up one size in white. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more.
However I am a curveless rectangle with no hips. Even with no hips, I don't find that these bag out, even with repeat wearing between washing. Like Diana, I never buy jeans with over 2% stretch and I never put them in the dryer.
The ones that you are wearing look great. I wouldn't size down in them if I were you, even if you can. The bit of scrunch on your lower leg helps balance things out visually, especially if you want to wear them with non-boot footwear.

I have a pair and I like them a lot. (A second pair just got donated because I didn't like how they had faded.) I've not had problems with them bagging out but it probably depends on the fabric content. Mine are 98% cotton/2% spandex. I personally try not to buy jeans with more than 2% stretch.

Mine are several years old so I don't know if this is still true, but they used to run HUGE. I am an 8-10 (29-30) normally in jeans and my KUTs are a size 6. So you might just need to size down.

I have a couple of pairs and I love them...they are about 2 years old. I have not found a problem with bagginess, but I probably do have a different style. I find that with most jeans, if I wear them 3 or 4 times without washing they do get a bit baggy. Once I wash and dry, they go back to normal. Though I don't recall this ever with KUT jeans.

Hi Lauren

I don't own KUT from the Kloth jeans, but quite a few YLF members own them and love them. Wait a bit and I am sure they will weigh in.

You look great, by the way.

Recently got a pair of KUT jeans from the brand (http://bit.ly/1elTPhJ) and liked them, though I found them a bit baggy in certain areas. Has anyone else tried the brand?
