I tried searching the forum but didn't run across anything. Mine need to be shortened by an inch or so and I wonder if they should be laundered before shortening them. Fabric content is 98% cotton and 2% spandex. I *think* they should be OK to go ahead and shorten but thought I'd as first. They won't be going in the dryer. Thanks! </p>
