UPS locally contracts to USPS almost exclusively locally (this is a fairly new thing, and our local post office is known throughout our state for being horrible, as well as the general stupidity that is the USPS sending local mail 3 hours away to sort it and have it come back), which adds sometimes 3-5 days to my delivery time, and usually the shipper doesn't pay to have USPS continue the tracking . . . so the package just is in limbo. BLARGH!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I would recommend dealing with the UPS directly. Don't bother with the post office. I am thinking that it might actually be easier for you to get reimbursed if UPS didn't do the final delivery. It means that they contracted it to USPS, which did a subpar job, for which UPS is ultimately responsible.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Hi. I definitely still want the jacket if it's available in my size. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;On further investigation, I learned that UPS was the originating shipper but that final delivery was through local USPS delivery. I tried tracking it through that site but it still says it was delivered. The 800 customer service line is not helpful so I will have to call or stop by the local PO and see what they say. I'd rather try all that before having American Eagle be responsible.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Their Customer Service rep said they would refund me or replace the order, but asked that I contact UPS first (it wasn't FedEx--my mistake). I certainly want UPS to step up, since it wasn't AE's fault, but it's nice to know that I have backup and ultimately I won't have to eat the $50. I'm going to deal with them tomorrow. Still feeling lousy that someone was very callous, either by stealing my stuff or by not doing their job properly. Oh well. It will be resolved.
