It's not modern or current at all, but I really like it. I happen to be partial to the one-button, open-bottom silhouette back in the 1990s, though, so take my thoughts with a block of salt &nbsp;: )</p> <p>If the closure bugs, it is definitely worth it to try it open. However, looking at the cut, I think that might result in it hanging straight down from the outer point of your shoulders, right in front of your arms. Might also be worth seeing how it looks pinned closed with a big brooch, or wrapped a bit, at a point farther down from the button -- maybe at the bottom of the wide band of vertical ribbing. Keep playing with it. My husband is pretty vocal on his likes and dislikes and for the most part he's right....but that being said, I do have a few items that I love regardless.
