I've never done that before. I'll show them to my tailor and see what she thinks. The inseam is only 26", which is usually quite a bit above my ankle bone (I take a 31" inseam in full length trousers), but the crotch on these is quite dropped, even more so since they're loose in the waist. I actually wouldn't mind a similar style in a full length, true Kate Hepburn pants, but I haven't seen that anywhere but vintage shops yet. (It is a great colour, isn't it? I actually tried on a pair of pleated pants that tapered a lot more at the ankles (at the thrift store, so no Find or photos), and I was not in love. The effect made me feel a bit bulgy in the hips, whereas the wider bottom gives more of a straight-up-and-down. It did occur to me that a visible cuff (a turn-up) might add some visual weight to the hem so it's not so floaty-looking, and it would work with the vintage menswear vibe.&nbsp;</p> <p>taylor -- thank you!
