Kelly is right, though, that they are completely different animals, and they do give off completely different vibes. In any case, the black are too expensive right now so I need to wait for a sale, and I do have other black sandals. </p> <p>Janet, I've been walking around the house a bit in them and they seem pretty comfy so far. And, oddly, they seem to have some arch support, which is very important for me. They seem pretty comfy but I can't decide if they are weird cool or weird ugly, LOL. What does YLF think? I'd wear them mostly with skirts and maybe shorts, occasionally under boocuts or something. The color is off in the photos, but it's a mustardy yellow, more dijon than French's. I don't think it's really the best color for my skin tone but then again it's as far from my face as you can get. The top strap looks a little tight in the photos but it's easily adjustable (it's actually velcro although you can't tell.)</p> <p>One other consideration: I am seriously considering getting these black gladiators in the last photo (super comfy, looks way better on my foot than in the photo) but are these too similar in style? The black ones have a lace-up front that I like and is probably more flattering than all the horizontal buckles on the yellow ones.</p> <p>ETA: added a couple of full-body shots with today's skirt outfit. </p>
