I do have a couple of high waisted skirts that I wear in summer. I usually wear loose high low tops with them but a loose cropped top would work too. So I could justify another cropped top that goes with both. In fact, you have reminded me that I bought an inexpensive cropped knit top (in NZ!) to wear with those skirts that I have not even tried yet. It was from a store called Glassons. I am not wild about shorts generally but they are highly practical for the Australian summer. I really feel the heat. I currently have 2 pairs of shorts, both very casual denim. Do they look smart, in a playful kind of way, or do they just look like bloomers on me?</p> <p>2. Are the heels OK with them? I have only one cropped top, shown in the first outfit. All my tops are LONG. I tried a longer top in the second outfit, and made a lame attempt at a half tuck, but I think it just looks a bit sloppy, especially from the back.
