I think these are a fabulous thrifted find! White denim is difficult at retail price and these might only need a little hemming. I love the wider (straight?) leg on you. From the side it looks like a little boot cut or flare. It really gives you some great balance, instead of the effect skinnies would have. And they're not see-though, that's a real bonus. I would NOT return these unless you have their replacement in your hot little hand! And FWIW, I don't think you've made mistakes lately. Maybe look for things that don't need as much alteration in the future, but your eye is right on.
