So changing sizes might not make a difference. Interestingly, a too high rise (for you) and a too low rise for you can have a similar effect. I haven't figured out how that works. But I also think that lighting plays a role. It's quite possible if these photos were taken in a different light you wouldn't even notice this. You can see a slight outline of the pockets IRL, but I'm hoping that as they stretch with wear, they won't be noticeable.
