And they balance you out just fine Now, they are a bit more on the retro/dressy end than rugged. So if you're after something more rugged, these would not be the shoe for you. If you're going for Docs, I MUCH prefer the black sole because of your dark hair. However! I think you should stick to the oxford idea and look for a DISTRESSED oxford. I hemmed and hawed for so long that the charcoal Frye Carson oxford is now out of stock in my size. I found these very comfortable leather/suede Clarks which I really like but am wondering if they look too delicate for me. Do I need a more substantial shoe to balance my upper half? My other option is the Doc (last pic) in black or red. Thanks for talking me through this </p>
