I myself am extremely picky when it comes to this silhouette. I think what makes it work for me is that it is pretty drapey and not tenting from the side the way a lighter fabric does. Also, maybe by virtue of being three sizes smaller than normal, the top part and sleeves are quite fitted. (I suspect my regular size WOULD have been a tent. It's a medium weight jersey so has a nice drape and doesn't seem to tent too much. There is a gathered detail at the neck - hopefully you can see it in the closeup photo taken with the flash. It can also be worn belted as in the last photo. Yes, it is black and I have a lot of black tops but then again I like black. </p> <p>Just as an aside, this top is an excellent demonstration of AS completely whack sizing. It is a UK6/US2, which is a good three sizes smaller than my normal size. Sometimes the largest size at AS is too small for me and sometimes apparently I have to size down three sizes. What gives?</p> <p>Your opinions? Keep or return? </p>
