I didn't realize it has ribbed sides as well as ribbed sleeves - what that says to me is it is unlikely to stretch in the waist or bust, since there won't be enough tension on the leather itself. It is already flaring out from your body quite a bit in pic 1. I suppose the only true test would be to try the next size, though.</p> <p>As for stretching, my blue Muubaa is the only one that has stretched - but it is also the only one that is super fitted and that I have worn through significant activity. So if you want that second-skin look, you might try wearing it in the house while doing a little workout or housework or something. My hair dresser bought it - she works next to the store that was selling it. So every time I go in, she's wearing it. She looks absolutely amazing in it, green eyes and red hair. She's a few inches taller than me too, with longer neck, so that makes a difference. I loved that jacket except it was a LOT of collar for me. Also when I found that one, I was in dubious job situation (rumors of layoffs) so all in all, better I didn't buy it. It was gorgeous though. It's expensive. Would be a total splurge to celebrate my new job. I have been on the lookout for something similar for AGES. But if it's not perfect then I will keep looking. My thoughts, the pros &amp; cons, all mixed up:</p> <p>1) Love the color. It's different. A soft grayish green. Goes well with my eyes.<br />2) Very comfortable jacket, beautiful subtle yummy&nbsp;leather.&nbsp;<br />3) Has knit ribbing up the sides and on the arms - that bugs me. The pilling issue.&nbsp;A jacket this expensive should not have that. However, it does make it comfortable and easy to move in.&nbsp;<br />4) I like the neckline of this one better than the green one I passed by a long while back (if any of you remember that one). Not so overwhelming on my short neck.<br />5) I like it open a lot.<br />6) I like that it has a reversible zipper.&nbsp;<br />6a) Not sure about zipped up - unless I unzip a bit from the bottom, it kind of poofs over my belly? Then again at the moment i'm sporting quite a belly, from Thanksgiving and job-hunt stress. My belly is not always quite this ... Poofy....&nbsp;<br />7) I do think the sleeves may need to be shortened -- just a tad --&nbsp;but Nordie's will do that.&nbsp;<br />8) I know with real leather you're supposed to buy small - this is the smallest size. Is it going to grow too much? (I may or &nbsp;may not grow or shrink... I'm hoping shrink, but who knows!)</p> <p>Is the knit ribbing and the belly pooling a deal killer?</p> <p>How this would fit in my closet:</p> <p>... right now I'm pretty much packed with pleather because I can't find a real leather jacket that I love enough to drop this sort of money... and my favorite white pleather jacket is starting to crack and fall apart around the neckline :-(</p> <p>I'm going to be traveling a lot and to warmer climes so I do think a quality leather jacket is a wise investment.
