My initial uninformed opinion (before reading any comments) was that I somehow liked that sleek vertical line that it creates down the middle. Interesting that Deborah identified the line of #1 as more modern -- now that she mentions it, I do realize there are a number of open&nbsp;jackets I've seen recently with that straight or barely curved line.
