IK, I'm flattered, especially since you can get away with so much clothes-wise that I can't. Not sure I could remotely pull off formcore, for instance.

E, thanks for the celebratory vibes! And I think you're right on the sweater not being a great color for me.

Thanks, Neelie!

Janet, I'm definitely coming around to the idea of more ease in something like this.

Angie, those are really nice words to hear. Yay!

I'm echoing Janet. Bomber looks best in the larger size, and I think the best fitting jacket I have seen on you so far. Nicely done.

I'm with Neel and Suz. Great jackets on you! Not loving the sweater, so I'm glad you decided against that. I tend to like bomber jackets with a bit more ease, so I think you'll be happier with the larger size. I have one from Zara (it was on sale at least) that I wish I'd gotten one size larger for more ease.

Love those jackets! I prefer the larger/longer size in both, just because they offer a bit of fluidity, and you have the option to wear the bomber closed.

Yay! You've found 2 jackets! Sounds like you have sizing all sorted, so I'll just celebrate with you. hehe

I don't think the jazzercise sweater colour is right for you, but I *love* 1. Good call on keeping it!

I'm having a hard time parsing the photos so will defer to the others on size. However I do think these jackets are very cute on you. I couldn't do it, but you sure can!

Thanks, Neel and Suz! And thanks again for recommending the jacket, Suz. I really appreciate it and it's probably something I wouldn't have thought of trying.

Your comments all help, especially with the bomber, where I wasn't quite sure what type of fit I should be looking for. Am leaning toward keeping the PL jacket, the non-petite tweed jacket, and the petite pants. And will send the Jazzercise sweater back. I ordered it in coral too, actually, which reminded me yet again that bright orangey colors + my skin tone = unfortunateness.

Woohoo for jackets! Finally, some that work!

And the shoes in these pics are actually new, and are collected below. For those who remember my shoe inventory, they're replacing my worn-out glittery black slipper flats and my black round-toe ballet flats (which I actually brought into work as a back-up pair of shoes for emergencies or for when I'm wearing rain boots and don't feel like dragging an extra pair with me).

#1 is great! Go Team Wear!

So glad you tried the bomber jacket! I really like it on you. I prefer the large, actually, for greater fluidity. True, you won't wear it closed very often since it appears to be an indoor jacket. But I think it is meant to have a bit of ease. It looks as if it might be versatile for you.

I'm with the others on preferring the regular version of the moto, unless the petite feels better somehow. Sometimes these things are hard to tell.

The drawstring pants look super in the petite!

And if you don't like the other sweater, back it goes. This is a good haul of stuff!

#1 - is gorgeous! Love the pointy toes with it!

#2-7 - I like the PL better. It looks lovely closed and open. Moreover bombers are supposed to be a bit boxy, I think.

#8-14 - I like the non petite version in this. It looks much more relaxed than the petite version. The petite looks a bit too short to my eyes. Or could you try the next petite size?

15-16 - Petite gets my vote for its versatile pant length.

Thanks, Shevia! Maybe I'll try to take better pictures of the pants tomorrow if I have time. I think the fit on both pairs is basically the same, except the length is the only difference.

You look great in #1. I like the bigger size of the tweed jacket on you, the length and the overall fit seems better to me too. I like the drawstring pants but it is hard to see the details so I can't say which size.

I ordered the BR tweed jacket I tried on here, plus the pretty patterned bomber jacket Suz recommended, and they're both here!

First of all, I threw in the top in #1 with the Loft order, decided to keep, and wore it today.

Next, here are the jackets.

First up is the bomber. #3-5 are a PM and #6-8 is a PL. Love the print. It's exactly the kind of non-cutesy floral I like, but also nothing like anything I own, and the black background makes it especially versatile. And I think I like the shape, but am not 100% sure this looks like it's supposed to on me. As for the size, I think I like the PM better open and from the back because it looks less boxy and hints a little at my shape, but the PL looks better closed, which I probably wouldn't wear as much.

Next is the tweed jacket. I loved it in the store and still love it. #8-10 is a 10P and #11-14 is a 10 regular, which is what I originally posted the pic of from a store try-on in the last thread. I might actually like the non-petite one better since it's a little longer, which seems like it would be more versatile, and it looks better closed. About the back view on the regular: After I saw #13, I wondered why the pic of the back I snapped in store looked so much better when it's the same exact size. I honestly think something about the angle where I take my back pictures makes it look worse than it is. I balance my phone on a low dresser, so it's not really level with me. I think that I stoop a little to make sure I get what I want in the view, and also that the camera angling up at me somehow makes the folds in fabric look like rolls of back fat when (I promise!) it's just the fabric itself. So I realized that, if I closed my closet door to make a nice backdrop instead of showing all the messy clothes hanging in there, I could take a picture with the phone on my other, higher dresser. So that's #14.

#15 and #16 are a pair of black drawstring pants I thought might be nice to have as an alternative to jeans for casual weekend stuff. #15 is a petite, which I can wear either rolled up to ankle length or unrolled. #16 is regular, which, I need to wear rolled up to wear at all. Shown with a Gap sweater I threw in with the BR order because I thought a lighter-colored sweater might be fun for a change. I thought I liked it at first but, the more I look at it, the more it looks like something to wear to an eighties aerobics class.

Thoughts on whether to keep any or all of these and on sizing? All comments welcome! Thanks for looking and for your continued patience with me and my attempts to crowdsource jacket fit.
