The wedge sneakers are fun, but on the chunky side and not really my stye. I guess those silver studs and the trendy style mesmerized me at the store! My wedge booties actually would serve the same purpose of these sneakers anyways and they look better with skirts. (see old pics below)</p> <p>I also saw the rain boot aspect when I took pictures of the Ecco boots. But I think they need to go back unless you can get them more adjustable (i.e. could a cobbler make another notch to tighten them further?) If you could get them to fit, they'd be fab. Simple, streamlined, easy to wear. </p> <p>I am on the fence about the sneakers. I really like this idea but I"m not sure I'm in love with this particular pair. They are more equestrian style (thicker stiff leather) and really read like rainboots in the photos.
