Happy Wake Up! I am thrilled to get more keep votes for the sweater! And just because I would love to have some sweater twins:

Shevia, I think this is a fabulous top, you look great! Kind of has a motocross feel which I'm seeing a lot of. I think with oversize you have to really make it look intentional as you've done here. Skinny on the bottom is key.

Thanks everyone! I was torn between really liking it and wondering if I was reverting to my high school oversized sweatshirt days (Thistle and Happy I appreciate your honesty - I was having similar thoughts). Nonetheless, I am delighted that Angie and the rest of you super stylish ladies approve! I will take Angie's and Claudia's advice and keep the bottom sleek. I knew I was pushing my luck with the bf jeans!

Shannon the oxfords are a complete mystery. They have the name Duffe imprinted on the insole, and I think they are made in Italy and they just showed up brand new in a second hand store and the rest was history of course.

I will be the odd one out. I would return it. I think it is too oversized. I think it should fit perfectly through the arms and shoulders with the oversized reserved for the trapeze bottom. The sleeves look too long, and I can't really see the shoulder proportions. I really feel like this boarders on the sloppy rather than trendy. I think you can find better.

I really like the sweater and like it on you and don't think it is too oversized but I think you really need to keep the bottom half of the outfit sleek and fitted because the sweater is not just oversized but casual. I'd wear it with pencil skirts and cigarette style pants, skinny jeans and ponte knits.

I vote keep.

ETA: the vibe of this sweater on you reminded me of this old post on Sea of Shoes enough that I searched it out: http://www.seaofshoes.com/sea_.....plits.html

I really like it in 3, it looks best with dark bottoms for sure. I kind of like the look, but I do like extra oversized. Also, my lazy brain says now it could be washed and thrown in the dryer and if it shrinks a bit, oh well, hehe!

I happened to be in Zara (heh) and spied this sweater. I am very attracted to black and white lately, and this cotton sweater called my name. I like it, but it is very oversized (it only comes in one size). I know oversized is trendy now, but am I going too far?

I tried it a few ways, but would also want to wear it with white on the bottom. I also overexposed the pictures since it is hard to see black on black.

Totally returnable, so feel free to say bad idea. Thanks for your opinions!
