LOVE that last outfit! Whyever would you not go out like that??!

I'm sharing your uncertainty about that shade of blush, pretty as it is. I have a sweater that colour, equally hard to wear. Suspect works best on a very dark or very pale complexion with rosy undertones, rather than any degree of tan at all. That said, try pairing it with the safari jacket rather than the white? Brown might help bridge the gap.

Love the new white jacket. Personally, not seeing any issues with the older one either --- just wouldn't wear with those particular pants (the vented back and length are bothering me; those jeans might want a more cropped topper or a longer boyfriend cardi i think). With the depth of the vented seams in the back, I think that jacket might work better with skirts and dresses on the whole. But that could be my personal preference as I don't like the transition point of the waistband to show in the vents of toppers.

Thanks Deborah - I forgot to say that the jeans are out - normally I consign my rejects, but I don't think these will get me anywhere. They are 28 waist (I think) if anyone wants them.

Thank you! I was hoping the bone jacket would pass muster. I found it hung in the back corner of my favorite thrift shop, where the clothes are usually dumped in the middle until some good volunteer hangs them - so usually anything hung up has been there a while. Anyway, it is Miu Miu - and I am enough of a brand lover to be pretty excited about paying $2.50 for it. (End of thrift brag.)
Isis, your bad news was good news to me - I really need help taming my closet.
Claire - I told you to open your clothes rehab business, believe me I have plenty of material for you.
Jeneva and Aida, since I love both of your styles so much I am very grateful for you styling ideas for the brown jacket.
and Jeneva - Yes, these shoes are very cool! They are by Israeli designer Daniella Lehavi and I don't think this picture does them justice. She is one of my favorite Israeli shoe and bag designers (the cross body bag is hers also) and I find a lot of her stuff second hand. I might try to do a close up shot later.
Thanks again for the great advice!

I rather like both jackets:)

#1 to me just doesn't work with those jeans (which look a little big on you). Worn with something more fitted I think it could be great.

I don't mind the blush color and it is certainly boosted by the white jacket which is quite stunning.

I think they are both keepers.

I agree with Jenava! I also rather love the first jacket, though it's got a clean cut to it. I think it could be roughed up in an outfit with a little bit of careful consideration. Not too sure about the blush color but the bone blazer looks super for you, both cut and color!

Here are my thoughts -
I rather love the first jacket, but it is not at all casual or RATE. If that isn't your style you might want to give it up. I think with a pair of proper trousers or even smart bootcut denim, or a pencil skirt, this would be smashing.

2nd one, this jacket is great on you! The blush color is "my" color, so I'm biased and will leave that to others, but I think this jacket looks great on you and seems fit your style because it seems slouchy, but not in a sloppy way.

Love the new bag, but I'm totally digging those SHOES (-:

You are just too tiny for those All Saint's Jeans, that's all! I see what you mean about the safari jacket. It might make a FAB vest, if you're up for a little DIY sleeve-ectomy. I love the bone jacket (and it totally makes the blush top work for you). Your purple bag is fab, maybe a close-up shot would show us its color better. And you DO look amazing in white/bone shades! Amazing! I love outfits 4 and 5!

First the bad news:

Not sure about the first jacket; I'm not crazy about it.

The jeans are way too big, and not at all flattering.

I'm with you about being uncertain about the blush top (but I'm not an expert on color).

Now the good news:

I LOVE the bone-colored jacket! Great summer piece! I love the way you've pushed up the sleeves. And is it ruched under the bust? This will go with everything. I like it with jeans, as you've shown. I suspect it'll also be great over a sheath dress. Great buy!

I like your new purple bag too!

I have two thrifted jackets, one old, one new, that I am not sure about.

1 and 2 show the first one, old DVF safari style. I like it but think it might be dated? Also featured are newly found all saints jeans. I did wear them, but don't claim they are the most flattering thing I own!

3 and 4 are a combination of things that totally don't work in these pictures. Too bad I didn't realize that sooner. I think the blush top is a bad color on me and am not at all sure about the bone colored jacket although I do like it. Maybe I need styling tips.

5 is an outfit I am ok with - I am attempting to show off my newly thrifted purple bag, but it does not look at all purple on my screen. I see I am wearing black shoes, reddish brown watch and a purple bag, which was not how I actually went out!

Thanks for any suggestions or comments, I can take it!
