It's not your best color. Perhaps it's the intensity of the pink combined with the other soft elements of the dress. Maybe it's too sweet, where as your style is tongue-in-cheek quirky sweet. I like it better with the black jacket the polkadots on the sleeve add to the playful vibe. </p> <p>As far as changing the style of the dress I agree an open neckline might work better for you if you find the boat neck and 3/4 sleeves too confining. I personally think it's fine. What I think will really help you make this dress feel more like you is pairing it with more intense, saturated colors (black, navy, bottle green) or graphic patterns (stripes?).
