And I quite like the fit. I don't think this vest is meant to be close fitting to the body - it's almost like a boyfriend style vest but with a girly back, you know? It would be incredibly easy for a seamstress to just put in a small dart under the arm to rein in some of that excess fabric. Although honestly, the fabric might relax there after wearing a few times and not stick out at all.
