Nothing a good tailor couldn't help you with or would it be worth sizing down? This looks like a high quality jacket and may be worth tailoring to shape the torso and create a more flattering length for you if you really love it. If you compare the length of your black jacket in your previous post, you can see how much nicer that looks on you. I think that if it were just slightly more fitted through the waist that it would look better both open and closed, but the straight cut is instead giving it a lack of structure through the middle.
