She said something about letting the front get longer and keeping the back short. She tried to find a picture of what she is thinking, but didn’t have any. I imagine that she is thinking of a modern version of what I did with my hair in my 20’s and 30’s. It looked a bit like your hairstyle..... I took a picture of an old picture of me so you could see. I cringe when I look at this because I am so hunched, I am wearing my friend’s shirt and the picture needs to come out of the frame to be dusted, but it does show the cut. The second picture is my paternal grandmother. I have been told multiple times that I look like her. I love how her hair looks so wavy, and have wondered if I could somehow do something like this with my hair, in a more modern cut. Right now I’m drying it straight because it is at an awkward length. I guess it could because it is double breasted? Maybe it’s because I wore both pieces together for these pics? I am unlikely to wear them together, I would most frequently treat them as separates. I worried the suit was trendy as opposed to corporate because it has slightly belled sleeves and the trousers are wide leg crops with very deep cuffs. The blazer has a loose almost cropped boxy, a line fit instead of being fitted like a traditional double breasted jacket. I don’t have anything else like it in my wardrobe. I initially worried about the bell sleeves, but they are not too wide to interfere with handwashing. I hate when sleeves drag in the sink, or hang so low that I cannot wash my hands efficiently. It would be a nuisance to take the jacket off and then put it back on each time since I wash my hands frequently in a school where children frequently show up with viral symptoms. </p> <p>Rachy, good eye about the leopard jacket. It has what I think is a tan/taupe tone in addition to the greys and blues, and I have been worried about it not being quite the right color, The blues and greys are right on, but maybe the other tones make it less flattering. I have wondered if I should try to find a solid light pink faux fur instead, if I even were to get one. Suggest you break it up and wear as separates. The jacket would work with so many bottoms and especially jeans. The bottoms with the grey top and booties (#6) certainly works, and I bet you have other tops and toppers that would work as well. On trend, for sure, but not over the top/maximaL - but could be, if you want to go that route with lots of pattern, texture, and bling. Despite the grand gesture of colour, the pieces are rather sleek.</p> <p>You look great in all things grey and silver. I have a silver foil t-shirt that is more body con than your tunic and it is my go-to for date night. A wardrobe essential for me. I suggest keep or look for something similar that you like better.</p> <p>Sorry, but I do not care for the turquoise cardigan. It fits you nicely, but the colour is too 'high'. Does that make sense? </p> <p>Not a fan of the leapord (too bulky for your delicate frame) but the cape with the fur trim is FABULOUS! </p> <p>Also, I really like the longer, fuller hair. I know after having very short hair that even an inch of extra length can seem like a lot. (I'm growing mine.)
