#1 is my favorite length. I think you could use it as a template to hem the other pants. I think the fit is fine on all of them it just depends on how casual you want the pants to be.

Also the shoe height will determine how appropriate the hem length looks.

I think you rather fab in all of them:) I particularly like the blue and then #6. I do feel that with your lovely long slender legs and heels, you can rock that cropped length.

K, we can wallow in each other's closets, I am clueless when it comes to pants.

And Suz, thanks for the compliment! Trousers are so very frustrating to me, though. If only my waist and hips would cooperate and loose a few inches each, everything would fit better...wait a minute while I put down this bowl of ice cream so I can finish typing...

What have you been smoking, lady? You say you do not look good in trousers? SHEESH!! You were made for them.

I adore #2 and concur they need only a bit of shortening. I love the patterned ones, too (I mean #4/5). I am not sure what to advise about the size.

We did post at the same time, Angie! I also love #2, the fit feels great in the hips. They're a little high waisted but not above my natural waist, so I can deal with that.

And Liz, I have always LOVED bright colors. I saw a pic of myself yesterday from the early '90's and I was wearing bright yellow and red plaid pants and a red top! Aside from looking like Bozo the Clown in that photo, I kind of wish I still had the pants - I could change them up a bit and wear them now!

Oh, K. You crack me up! I just read your comment and had no idea about your poison eye. Well, we did agree that #5 needed to be shorter :)

Karie, you look fantastic in trousers! I don't see any fit issues.
Thank you all for your responses! K can shop, that was a mistake on my part - 4 and 6 are the same size, not 5 and 6. I corrected it in the description.

Also with #4 and #5, the bigger size (#4) I think is baggy in the hips but fits perfectly in the waist, while the smaller size (#5) fits perfectly in the hips but is ever-so-teensy-weensy tight at the waist. Like, "eat one candy bar instead of two and go to Pilates next week and you'll be fine" tight.

Of course, if I decide to shorten the hem, I could just alter the bigger pair in the hips...

I LOVE #2. They just need a little hemming - like an inch and a half.

I like #5 best, and would shorten the hem even further. Great fit, Karie :)
Okay, so I am ducking now because I know that Angie is (with good cause) going to get after me for this but....

I think you have a great figure to wear 1 and 3 the lengths that they are, especially if you always wear them with a bit of a heel. (Honestly, I suspect Angie will say it is just about figure flattery priorities and let me off the hook with a warning.)

I wouldn't hem 2 as regular pants. I don't know why, but I have a poison eye for colorful pants hemmed as trousers. It is totally irrational. I always think of slim cut colorful pants as the trouser equivalent of skinny jeans. I like them tightly pegged at the ankle with a break caused as as they brush the top of your foot. These wouldn't be tight enough against your ankle to create that shape. Again, totally irrational and entirely my bias, so you should ignore me on that. Really.

I think 4/5 should be hemmed about an inch shorter and 6 should be hemmed about two inches shorter. Actual measurements are hard to judge, but I mean just a smidge on the first ones, and a bit more on the second ones.

As to the sizing on 4/5, is was very surprised to read that 5 is the same size as 6. I prefer 4 on you to 5, but 6 looks great as is to me.

I love the bright pink ones!
Honestly, though, you look good in all of them.
My second favorites are #2, but I have to confess that I tend to prefer solid colors, so other people may very well not agree.
I think the talls are better than the regulars, and when in doubt choose the larger size. I think the regular length does hit just a tad short, but not terrible by any means.

I am terrible at PPL, but I think all but the blue are too short. Mthose would have to be hemmed.

I hate buying pants. I have found a few brands that work and stick with them! My hips are othing but trouble in pants!

Does anyone else have trouble getting pants that fit? Argh! I'm 5/8" and regular length is usually a hair short, and tall lengths are miles long. And to add insult to injury, I'm in between sizes - one size is too small and the other too big! Soooo frustrating.

That said, I could use a little help here. These are ankle pants, tall length:
#1 - A gray/white print, I would keep these long and not hem
#2 - Very long, but I would hem them to be a regular, not ankle, pant length.
#3 - Bright pink, also would leave them long

These are ankle pants, regular length:
#4 and #5 - bigger size (#4) smaller size (#5)
#6 - same size and pant style as #4, just a different pattern

Opinions, please! Is anything worth keeping, or should they all go back? Too big, too small, prints/colors look awful?
