I do like how these sandals look. I wish it didn't have such a high heel though. They are comfy (I've been wearing them around the house) and I can walk in the heel, but I just worry that it's too high to be practical for MOTG or work and it's not dressy enough for evening. And I guess you're right about not working with the trench coat (I just grabbed it because it matched the colors). So that doesn't leave too many situations that it would work for. I will hang on to them for now but see if I can find a pair that might work better for my needs. They are really pretty though. I was returning a pair of flat sandals and tried on more at Nordstrom browsing the sale rack. After trying a bunch on, I realized that I only like sandals that cover a lot of the foot (esp near the toes), that have nothing in between my toes, and have an ankle strap. In other words, no bare thong flip flop type sandals.
