These are supposed to be quite cropped but due to my short inseam, they hit right above the ankle-- wearing flats, it's not as obvious as it is in oxfords. That's actually my preferable length, because I feel (mistakenly?) that the flash of ankle adds structure, and helps prevent wide-legged pants from overwhelming me. Maybe I'll look back on this fashion period with regret and seek solace in C/E stilettos, which hit me right below the ankle. I've ordered a number of cropped pants this season, including Angie's AG jeans, that were painfully too long. Everything so far is an unambiguous "no" except for the cuffed wool pants and the silk dress. I'll probably have to choose one or the other because both are higher priced than I'd like. </p> <p>The pants are great for women with high rises and are fully lined. </p> <p>I like the dress--feminine, silk, and so light for traveling--but wonder if I could do better. </p> <p>Part 2 will included a dress and mini skirt, so I'll have to see how they fare in comparison. </p>
