I ordered 1-4 from Zappos to try on (I'm a big orderer/returner). Zap, I'm returning the leopard booties for sure, but I'm going to hang on to the black Sosies for a few days until I can compare to the Riekers to see which ones are more comfy. If the Riekers don't work out, the Mias are next up on my list. Kristin, thanks for letting me know about the Troopa. That's too bad about the quality. They look like they would work for me with the lace-up style and flat heel, which is what I need, but I'll hold off if the quality is bad. The boots are currently at the cobblers for stretching, but I'm worried. I will be returning the brown boots. You tend to wear more skirts than pants (and I prefer them with pants) and also you love to pattern mix throughout the outfit so a plainer shoe is often a plus in your case. They seem to go well with many, many colors - brown draws out the brown, black the black, etc. They also don't have the same overwhelming graphic effect that the leopard seems to have. I'm also not a fan of the way the leopard print meets at that seam down the middle...</p> <p>The black are basic and maybe a bit loose around the ankle. Your footwear is usually more fun than these! Given you propensity for lux looks and lots of texture, I think suede would be better, but not sure how well that would work in your climate.</p> <p>Have your feet been swelling?
